An engagement session is about so much more than getting a few pretty photos for your save-the-dates. It's actually one of the best investments you can make for your wedding day experience.

It's Fun!

For most couples, this is the first time they've been professionally photographed together, so it's completely normal to feel a little nervous. An engagement session gives you the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and realise that having your photos taken can actually be a lot of fun! And that I'm a total crack up (well most think my jokes are funny).

You Get to Meet Your Photographer

It really is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to see just how silly I have to be to get you cracking your biggest smiles. You'll learn how I work, how I guide you into natural poses, how I create those super cool artistic double exposures, and just how relaxed my sessions really are. By the time your wedding day arrives, it won't feel like you're meeting your photographer for the first time – it'll feel like catching up with a friend. That's what I love - third wheeling weddings like I'm a part of the bridal party.

Learn What You (And What You Don't) Love

We'll also take the time to discover what you love. Maybe you adore those candid, laughing moments. Perhaps you're all about the romantic dip kisses and dramatic spins. Maybe you prefer to keep things simple and snuggly or love a mixture of everything. Your engagement session gives us time to experiment and figure out which poses feel most natural and genuinely reflect your personalities.

Practice Makes Perfect

And yes – I can teach you all the fun moves! The spins, the dip kisses, the walking shots that somehow don't feel awkward, and all those little prompts that create natural smiles and genuine connection. After a practice run with me, I can (almost) guarantee that you won't be worried about your partner dropping you during your big dip kiss.
