If you're dreaming of a wedding venue that feels relaxed, picturesque, and effortlessly beautiful, then Salty Lime & Co deserves a spot on your shortlist. There is no denying it's one of my favourites and I'm sure after a tour, you'll be just as obsessed.
From the moment you arrive, it's easy to see why couples fall in love with this venue. The gardens are beautifully maintained and provide stunning backdrops for both ceremonies, receptions and portraits. Right in the centre of the property is a charming little jetty stretching out over the dam, creating the perfect spot for romantic photos and quiet moments together.
One of my personal favourite features is the wooden swing. It adds such a fun and whimsical touch to wedding portraits and is a huge hit with guests at the receptions. Then there's the lookout – with views that seem to stretch on forever, especially during golden hour when the light turns absolutely magical. The team at Salty Lime & Co have truly thought of everything - as if you choose to say "I do" at the lookout, they even transport your guests to the top, making the experience both seamless and incredibly special.
The venue also has a lovely little vineyard that adds a unique touch to the property and creates even more variety for your wedding gallery. Having multiple locations all within one venue means couples can enjoy an incredible range of photos without needing to travel between locations. There is even a vintage car parked up on the property that you can get photos with if you so desire.
As a photographer, I've always found the team at Salty Lime & Co to be absolutely wonderful to work with. Communication is fantastic, they are always organised, professional and approachable, and the property is consistently presented beautifully. They genuinely care about every wedding they host and go above and beyond to ensure couples, guests, and vendors alike feel welcomed and well looked after.
